Amazon. com Product Description With perpetual calendar watches, the time and date are always right -- every hour, every day, year after year. You'll never miss a birthday or anniversary again. This Timex Men's Perpetual Calendar Watch is not just water resistant (up to 328 feet), it's excuse-proof. The watch, which blends a classic traditional design with contemporary details, comes equipped with a stainless steel case, a versatile black leather band and a sturdy buckle clasp. The stand-out white numerals charmingly offset the watch's black dial face, and the easy-to-read date calendar is located at the three o'clock position. Powered by analog-quartz movement, this forward-thinking and iconic watch is time's new modern classic.

A Timex masterpiece April 2, 2008 W. E. McGowan (Binghamton, NY USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Possibly the greatest watch ever made -- large easy to read numerals -- sweep second hand -- all stainless steel case -- rugged, no-nonsense design -- day and date (with indiglo illumination) -- perpetual calendar that never needs adjusting (it even knew enough to advance three digits at midnight on Feb 29, 2008!) -- and mine is accurate to within five seconds a month!!! -- just set it for daylight savings time and forget it until the fall -- seven year battery life that Timex promises to replace for free when it dies -- I love the black face but I bought a second white-faced one just to have on hand if this one ever gets lost or broken -- I hate to think they might ever stop making this model -- it's a watch anyone would love. I only wish Timex would sell original replacement leather watch bands for this item.
Timex Perpetual Calendar Steel Black Mens Watch T2M453 July 9, 2007 Clyde Griffing This is the easiest watch to read I have ever had. I like the perpetual calendar feature and the placement of the day date. It is slightly bulky and not as pretty as other watches I have owned, but I recommend it if ease of use is a main consideration.
Simple and solid. November 2, 2008 B. P. Donlin No frills, very basic; wysiwyg. This is a great watch and anyone into basic, clean-lines will enjoy this time-piece.
Upscale Timex ... wears well and practical too. January 7, 2009 bill faulkner Excellent watch. I've owned expensive watches (Cartier), mid-priced ones (Seiko, Casio), and Timex (Easy set alarm Expeditions which I've been wearing for about ten years, ironman for training) and this is right in the sweet spot.
Build quality is Swiss-like. In fact you could easily find something like this in Geneva for 5-10x the price.
Features: Perpetual calender is seriously cool. Although I've kept to the alarm watches for years, changing the calender month to month is a hassle. On balance, having an analog face on a perpetual calender is a truly nice feature. The black face with white Arial numerals is a bit conservative, but this is offset by the watch's slightly larger size. I have a pretty average/narrow wrist and its large the way a modern watch should be, without being bulky. The backlighting feature is vintage timex. The watch came set to EST.
Overall impression: Timex has come of age. They make this 90.00 wristpiece look and feel like the real deal. Are you picky about what you wear on your wrist but can't afford/don't want a watch that costs hundreds of dollars? Buy this model.
It's a Timex. May 7, 2009 Y. Chery (Cambridge, MA) I was looking for a less than $100, classic-looking, no-maintenance analog watch to wear instead of pulling out my cellphone to get the time of day.
I wanted a watch with easy-to-read numbers and month/date as well as a light to read in low-light conditions. Unlike many chronograph watches, this watch has all but the '3' digit on the face which makes reading it very easy. The month/date comes factory set so you'll never need to correct it. The Indiglo is nice and bright in low-light.
This watch does all I need it to do and I'm quite pleased with my purchase.
